End of Year Giving

As we approach the end of the year, know that there are many ways to make a gift to support your parish, school, or favorite ministry through the Catholic Foundation. 	Make a donation via mail You can make a check out to the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia and include the fund you wish your gift to support in the memo line.
	Make an online donation Donate to the Catholic Foundation or any of our parish, school, nonprofit, or ministry endowment funds securely online here.
	Make an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) If you are 70.5 or over, you may direct up to $100,000 from your IRA to the Catholic Foundation while lowering the income and taxes from your IRA withdrawals. To make an IRA QCD, simply contact your IRA custodian, such as Fidelity, and request that an amount be transferred directly to the Catholic Foundation or to one of its funds.
	Make a gift of securities Consider donating appreciated securities that you have held for more than a year for the current market value deduction and avoid capital gains tax. Your financial advisor will likely need the following information: Legal name of charity: The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia Tax ID: 58-2008930 Address: 5871 Glenridge Drive NE Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30328 He or she will also need the name of stock, stock symbol, and the number of shares you want to transfer. If you are making a gift of securities, please inform Juliet Greco (email) of your gift details to ensure the transaction occurs smoothly and in a timely manner.
	Make a gift matched by your company To let us know that your gift has been matched by your company, please write “Gift will be matched by [YOUR COMPANY’S NAME]” on the memo section of your check or online donation.
	Make a donation from a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) You can make a grant from a charitable/donor advised fund held at the Catholic Foundation or another charitable entity to an endowment fund or to our operating fund.
