FreeWill
Free Resource for Creating a Will
As Catholics, we are called to ensure care for our families and to be generous with our blessings. Including a gift to the Catholic community is a powerful way to support the work of the church for generations to come. The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, Inc. (“Catholic Foundation”) is making FreeWill available for those who do not have wills and as a tool for those who have satisfied themselves that using FreeWill is appropriate for their estate planning needs.
You can use FreeWill, a secure, online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust, to help you get started on your plans and legacy. It’s easy to use and can be completed in 20 minutes.
- If you have a simple estate, you can print your legal will to be signed and witnessed.
- If you have a more complex estate, the same tools will help you document your wishes and help find a qualified attorney near you to finalize your plans.
Writing a will is the best way to make a plan for the future and protect what you have been blessed with by God. Too many of us put off this important task year after year. If you want to get peace of mind, protect your loved ones, and support our Catholic community, you can use this free online tool to get started. It’s free and accessible for all.
What is FreeWill?
FreeWill makes estate planning intuitive and free, so that you can more easily care for the people and causes you love. FreeWill’s goal is to make estate planning accessible and cost-free for all. FreeWill is designed with language specifically tailored to your jurisdiction. Every aspect was developed with the help of legal advisors, including a variety of practicing attorneys and academics who support FreeWill’s mission to increase Americans’ access to law and enable charitable giving.
FreeWill is not affiliated with the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, and the Catholic Foundation receives no compensation from FreeWill. Accordingly, the Catholic Foundation assumes no liability for the services provided by FreeWill.
Is it really free?
Yes! The no-cost estate planning tools are made possible by the support of hundreds of nonprofit organizations that work on meaningful issues. While we hope that you would consider making a charitable bequest to the Catholic Foundation or any charity, we are not directing you to do so and any such bequest(s) are in your sole discretion.
